Let me start out by saying that 97% of fitness programs these days are, well, more or less garbage. That goes for programs you see online and on TV. The vast majority aren’t worth my time to review, never mind recommend.
I’m a real stickler when it comes to what I put on my website. After all, it’s not only my business, it’s my life. This is what I do, day in and day out. I refuse to mention anything on my website that I don’t whole-heartedly believe in. I also don’t promote anything I haven’t tried myself.
For me to go so far as to promote a product, let alone write a review for it, shows that it is truly something special and (more importantly) helpful. Something that also offers immense value to my readers.
It’s not often, but every now and then I come across something that passes my borderline obsessive compulsive prerequisites. This time, it’s a fitness guide appropriately titled “Visual Impact Muscle Building”. It’s not perfect, but it’s darn near close. I decided to do a detailed review to help clear up any questions you guys might have about the program. Here it goes.
About the Author
Visual Impact was written and designed by my colleague, Russell (most people call him Rusty) Moore. Rusty runs a high traffic fitness blog and has written multiple books and fitness guides. His greatest work to date is undoubtedly his Visual Impact Muscle Building program.
Rusty has dedicated his life to helping individuals achieve a visually appealing body. Where he differs from most other trainers and fitness gurus is in his view of the ideal body. He hates the meathead, bodybuilder look. I don’t mean anybody with muscle, but that bloated, puffy, and overall unattractive appearance that so many guys seems to want, despite the fact that the vast majority of women don’t like it.
Instead, Rusty promotes the lean, hardened-muscle physiques of Hollywood celebrities like Brad Pitt in Troy, Ryan Reynolds in Blade Trinity, Ryan Gosling in Crazy Stupid Love, and Mark Wahlberg in The Fighter. These celebrities all share two things in common; they look amazing with a shirt off, and they look amazing with a shirt on. They look good all the time, and they still fit into their pants. Can bodybuilders say the same?
Most muscle programs will put loads of muscle on you, but this muscle in large part goes to your butt and legs (thanks to excessive squatting and deadlifting). Before you know it, your pants don’t fit you, and you’re becoming rather bottom heavy. The muscle goes wherever it ends up, and there is no strategy behind it.
In Visual Impact Muscle Building, the exercises, reps, and sets are all designed with purpose. What purpose is this you ask? To add muscle to your body in the right places – and only the right places. You don’t want an ass the size of the Titanic, you want that tapered “V” shaped back, and flat, square looking pecs. You want ripped, round shoulders, veins in your arms, a shredded 6-pack, and a smaller waist without the love handles. You want a body that women find attractive, and one that you can be proud of having. Visual Impact delivers this as quickly and effectively as I’ve seen.
Rusty has done a better job than anyone else when it comes to designing a step-by-step guide that gets you hard muscle in the right places, without having to bulk up. We’re talking dense muscle, not big, puffy muscle mass. At no point in the program do you have to gain unnecessary weight and look like a chubby football player. You will see muscle gains, but it’s only muscle, not fat. The same can’t be said for every other muscle building program I’ve come across.
Another big area of distinction between Visual Impact and other fitness guides is in its clarity and direction. Right from the get-go, it gives you information paired with instructions. Other muscle gain and fat loss programs read more like an encyclopedia. They flood you with partially relevant information – but then don’t tell you what to do with it. It can be frustrating beyond belief, and something that my readers have emailed me about more times than I care to count.
Visual Impact offers 4 distinct steps, or phases as Rusty calls them. He takes you by the hand from the beginning and tells you what to do, how to do it, and how long to do it for before moving onto the next phase. It sounds simple, and a little obvious, but I can tell you that its a welcome departure from the programs of yesteryear. You can really tell that Rusty knows what he’s talking about, and loves helping other people, but I digress..
The 4 phases of Visual Impact Muscle Building are as follows:
Phase 1: Build Muscle in the Right Places
In the beginning, you are given explicit instructions on what exercises to do, when to do them, how often to do them, and the volume in which to do them in. Strict instruction tells you when you can move onto the next phase of the program, which is included in every other phase as well.
Phase 2: Increase Muscle Density
This is where you begin to see results which make you smile. Have you ever noticed how some people have big, puffy, but undefined muscles, and yet others have rock-hard, dense muscles? This is where you’ll learn how to get the latter.
This phase will still have you building new muscle, but it will be in a slightly different way. You’ll be lifting heavier, and getting ready to transfer into phase three of the program.
Phase 3: Achieve Maximum Muscle Density and Lose Excess Fat
Any excess fat that you still have lingering will be completely extinguished in this phase. You will be lifting heavy, breaking personal best weight lifting records, and using extremely powerful fat burning methods in the process.
Bonus Phase: The Shrink Wrap Effect
Rusty has thrown this phase in as a bonus. I won’t go into a lot of detail about the Shrink Wrap Effect in this review, but I will say that this is the technique that Hollywood celebrities use to get their movie-ready abs. The outcome? Your skin wrapped very tightly around your abs, creating incredible definition.
This technique won’t do you much good without following the first 3 phases of the program though, so it’s important to leave it until the end.
What You Get When You Buy
When you purchase the program, you’ll get a 15 chapter (75 page) information guide. This will walk you through everything you need to do. In it, you’ll learn the science behind the program and techniques like myofibrillar and sarcoplasmic hypertrophy, cumulative fatigue, rep ranges, rest periods, etc.
Also included in the Visual Impact program is a 277 page manual detailing different exercises. Included are clearly laid out instructions and pictures of the exercises being performed. This is particularly handy if you’ve had previous injuries and can’t perform certain exercises outlined in the program. It’s easy to find an alternative exercise that still gets the job done. This guide alone is worth the asking price in my opinion.
You’ll also get printable workout charts which include the exercises, number of reps, number of sets, and how long your rest periods need to be for all 4 phases of the program.
Last, but certainly not least, Rusty includes a report on supplements which he actually went to great lengths to create. He interviews exerts in the supplement industry and actually examines the scientific evidence behind supplements. He is honest in his portrayal of supplements, in that he admits you don’t need them, and that the vast majority are a waste of time. It should be noted that you don’t need supplements for Visual Impact.
My Thoughts on Visual Impact
So that’s Visual Impact in a nutshell. What I can tell you is that this guide provides you with immense value. It’s not the only thing in the entire world that works, but it’s sure a great one. If you’re looking for some guidance and don’t want to look like a meatball, then it’s hard for me to recommend anything else ahead of this. It’s a fraction the price of a single session with a personal trainer, and I give you my guarantee that you’ll find it a whole lot more helpful than a single lesson with one too. It comes with a 60-day full money back guarantee as well, so if you decide to take the plunge but then aren’t completely satisfied, you can get a full refund, no questions asked.
More information can be found on the Visual Impact Muscle Building website. It’s got a bunch of informative videos that are worth a watch anyways, even if you decide not to bite the bullet.
As a bonus for buying Visual Impact, I’m offering 8 weeks of free email support to anyone who buys through one of the links on this page. If you have any questions at all during this time, about the program or not (as long as it’s fitness related of course), just email me and I’ll help you through it. All you need to do is email me with your order confirmation number to receive the offer.
